LOW CALORIE MULTI LAYER DESSERT CUPS

This recipe is one that i came up with myself as a healthy alternative to other unhealthy stuff i eat as dessert and think tastes AMAZING so i would like to share it with you guys. Basically, it is a multi layer dessert with layers of chocolate mousse, strawberry mousse, custard, jelly and whipped cream. You may be thinking "what are you on about, that sounds like one of the most unhealthiest things you can eat" but not to worry, these sweet treats have less than 120 calories when the right ingredients are chosen!! Making these a perfect dessert when your trying to watch your weight. Read on to find out how to make these low calorie multi layer dessert cups.

2. Take your Weight Watchers Strawberry flavoured mousse and follow the instructions on the back of the sachet.

b.) Add contents of sachet.
c.) Beat on low speed of mixer (scraping powder from sides of mixing bowl) until thickened then whip at highest speed for 3-5 minutes.
d.) Spoon evenly into 4 of your dessert cups and chill for an hour.
That is your second delicious layer completed with only 31 calories in each serve.

3. Then take your Weight Watchers Vanilla flavoured custard and follow the instructions on the back of the sachet.
a.) Empty contents of sachet into a small saucepan.
b.) Add 1 cup (250ml) of cold water to the pan and gently whisk until no lumps remain.
c.) bring to the boil, stirring continuously.
d.) Simmer for 1 minute, stirring continuously.
e.) Spoon evenly into 4 of your dessert cups and chill for an hour.
That is your third delicious layer completed with only 35 calories in each serve.

4. This is the time where your make your Jelly. I am using Aeroplane Jelly Lite because it is a healthier alternative to regular Jelly. I did have to go into the regular jelly range though to get the colour blue because the Jelly Lite range does not carry blue. Follow the instructions on the pack of the box.
a.) Empty contents of packet into a bowl and add 1 cup (250ml) of boiling water. Stir and dissolve well.
b.) Add 200ml of cold water and stir.
c.) Pour the jelly evenly into the 4 cups and refrigerate until firm (minimum 4 hours).
That is your fourth delicious layer completed with only 7 calories in each serve for the Jelly Lite range but 64 calories for the normal blue flavour. As you can see, the Jelly Lite range makes a huge difference in minimising the amount of calories in each dessert.

5. Once the desserts come out of the fridge after the Jelly is set, garnish with some Light whipped cream
Tips
- To use up all of the leftover jelly you can make "Jelly Cups" so that no products are wasted.
